If you are looking for a table to use for cooking, dining or playing cards, the ALPS Mountaineering Dining is a quality addition.
This table is made of lightweight and rust-free aluminium material that can be used as a cooking surface. The frame is also made of aluminium making the table compact and long-lasting.
This foldable RV table is also high enough so that you don’t have to worry about hitting your knees while sitting down.
This RV folding table is collapsible and comes with a carrier bag making portability easy from one location to the other.
It also features a strong aluminium X-frame and a foldable top for easy set up and break down.
The hardest part of assembling this table was tearing open the cardboard shipping box.
Once inside, I found a sturdy durable, well made heavy duty carrying bag. The bag has an internal baffle to hold the two parts of the table separately. It has a strong webbed carry strap generous enough in length to allow it to be slung over one’s shoulder. The bag secures with a spring slide lock.
The base of the table folds into a 4×4 inch 3 ft long compact piece. It unfolds easily and locks in place with corner braces like those found on an everyday card table. It literally took me 30 seconds to unfold the base. The top folds into a slightly larger rectangle, maybe 5×5.
Once unfolded and placed on top it is secured by four rubber buttons that slide into U shaped openings in brackets on the vertical sides of the base. The part took another 30 seconds. Instant table in under a minute. I never even read the instructions. As one would expect the table is very light weight, and could be damaged through stupidity.
However it easily accommodates two Weber Q grills – you just cannot open both at once. I am ver pleased with this. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this and one consideration was the slats run across the short dimension of the table, not longways so the rolled up part is a lot smaller.
I also could not figure out how to pinch my fingers folding this unless I were to place them between the legs and the top while folding it up, a move that is about as likely as shutting ones finger in a door. It can happen if one is careless I suppose. So no pinch, easy to assemble and disassemble, sturdy storage bag and a great price.
A portable camp kitchen may be handy if you are looking for additional cooking space especially for a large group.
This GCI Outdoor Slim-Fold Outdoor Cook Station ticks for all your cooking needs. Fitted with a 2-burner camping stove space, grill, pans and utensils and also a hook for the wine glasses.
The table’s countertop is made of heat and rust resistant aluminium that is ideal for a hot stove.
This table features 4 plastic pull-out side tables which are capable of holding up to 30-pounds each fitted with beverage holders, towel holders, garbage bags, stemware holders and other hooks for grilling tools.
The table is easy to set up and collapse and you don’t need an expert to do it. It comes with a carrying bag that has handles for ease of transport.
This is a great, compact kitchen set up for car camping. Very sturdy and functional. The only thing that annoyed me was that I never had a good way to transport it. It’s too big to pack in even a XL bin. Without any type of protection, it’s only a matter of time before it starts getting scratched up and chipped. My search is over:
This sturdy art bag is as heavy duty as other gear bags I have and fits the camp kitchen perfectly with a little room to spare for a few other small things.
If you love your camp kitchen like I do and want to protect it, I highly recommend!
The Camp Time Roll-a-Table is ideal for use in rough surfaces as you can easily adjust the height. You can easily ensure that the surface is level even in rocky grounds.
This foldable table comes with sturdy and strong aluminium roll-top for ease of dining as well as camp cooking. You can place your grill on top of this table without the fear of collapsing.
The table is easy to set up and collapse and comes with an easy to understand menu. Once you are through with it you can easily collapse it down to its carrying bag that has a strap too.
You can also use the table for other outdoor activities when you are not camping like in your backyard events.
This is my second time buying this table. I have been using it for Diner en Blanc. I love that it is the largest approved table size.I love how portable it is, and I LOVE that there are no cross hatch supports so I can sit (with knees) under the table.I am 5’11 and when wearing all white, do not want to have to lean into my meal. The set up is easy and it provides a good stable surface. Next year we will be a group of 8 and I will get my third of this table.
The Coleman Pack-Away Deluxe Portable Kitchen comes with the most features among the RV folding tables reviewed here, however it also has the most weight and is highly cumbersome.
This foldable RV table is ideal for a large group or families looking for additional space for preparing food, cooking, storage and cleanup.
This table features utensil hooks, mesh shelves for extra storage space and paper towel holders. It also comes with a sunken tub to make dish cleaning easy and enjoyable.
This foldable table also comes with a hook for you to hang your lantern while cooking as well as washing the dishes at night.
The table also comes with a compact design which fits into a bag when you need to carry it back.
I am glad I listened to another reviewer who said they are shipping the new model of this (and they provided pictures), as I got the updated version as well and it is terrific so far.
Without referring to the instructions (except for one part for the stove support section) I was able to set it up without any problems. It goes up really quickly and easily as well, first time it took me maybe five minutes (again, that was without even reading the instructions), I’d imagine now that I know how it is setup I can probably do it in a couple minutes or less easily.
Take down is super fast as well. I also really like that everything fits inside the main table when it’s folded with room to spare. You could easily store some of your kitchen items in there like utensils and spices or what have you.
The main table portion is pretty much all aluminum, while the stove portion is steel, but since it needs to hold far more weight that is understandable. It’s still pretty light all together though, and it folds up nice and compact which will make stowing it nice when car camping or overlanding. It’s also plenty sturdy I think given the cost and the construction.
The only thing I can find fault with so far is that the legs are not adjustable to compensate for uneven ground. It’d add to the cost, but it’d be really nice. As it stands, you either need to get a fairly flat and level bit of ground, or shim the legs with something.
I’ll probably go to the hardware store and pick up some plastic framing shims (used to shim door frames and walls while you’re building) to throw in there so that when I need to level it I have something on hand. They are cheap enough and one pack will be more than enough unless it’s horribly bumpy land you’re on.
Other than that I am looking forward to using this on our next camping trip.
Looking for a versatile table, you might want to try the Coleman Pack-Away Folding Camping Table which is a 4-in1 table with multiple uses. This table can be used as a square table to serve many individuals, it can be extended to serve as a buffet table, you can use it as a bi-level table, or disconnect it to have two distinct tables.
The versatility doesn’t end with multiple uses, the height of the table is adjustable to 3 various levels. The legs are constructed using aluminium for the stability and durability of the table. This makes the table one of the sturdiest and strongest available out there.
The table can also be used for cooking as well as holding of grills and burners as it can hold up to 300 pounds. It is also made of heat-resistant aluminium, hence, can’t be spoiled by heat during cooking.
We just took this camping, and it is exactly what we needed. I’m back to order a second one so I can add a third leaf to the table for eating and playing games while also having a tall single leaf for food prep. I love how adjustable it is.I can set it low enough (coffee table height) for even my toddler to reach his food from a camping chair, or high enough to keep food prep items easily accessible when standing at the camp stove. Highly recommend.
